See you all in Philly again? May 26? A half? Yeah?

Double posting today but too much happening… I could have waited, only that price goes up tomorrowand I would feel bad if I didn’t tell you all.

So… I signed up for the ODDyssey half. It’s in Philly, heard of that town? People run in costume (what people?? US!!),

The ODDyssey remembers that running is fun. Though a serious endurance race, this half marathon is coupled with optional twists and turns throughout the course for runners who want to have a little fun. The race includes costume contests and unique obstacles to make it a race you will never forget, but don’t forget, we also have a hefty prize package for winners, the Jaguar Chip Timing System, professional photographers and a USATF certified race course.

The course is truly unique and takes in the beauty of Fairmount Park; beginning on the Memorial Hall Green and winding around the tranquil Belmont Plateau before touring the stunning Schuylkill River along West River Drive. Runners will finish back at Memorial Hall for a post race bash.

and…

Sly Fox Brewing Company is hosting a free beer garden for all adult finishers!  The beer garden will open promptly at 8:00am.  All runners over the age of 21 will receive a free pint of the beer at the post-race bash! Finish the race, collect your medal AND official pint glass and head on over to the beer garden to toast your success.  Prost!

And… we might get our own separate finish-beer-garden-tent… Like VIPs! Of course you don’t want to miss it! Sounds interesting???

Bacon might be able to tell you more about the course as he run it last year I think, but I heard it’s FUNNNN. See below, that’s my friend Maricela on the right (who some of you met in Philly) in their newsletter last year..

So, there is still time to decide and sign up, but… price goes up $10 tomorrow. And I am gonna be there. You can all decide on my outfit!

See you all in Philly again? May 26? A half? Yeah?
