Just like we did before my last marathon, it’s time to place your bet again… Some of you were really close last time:Fivestarks was just 4 seconds away and got crowned!
Rules: whoever gets closer, wins, If there’s two identical times, the first poster wins! Make sure if you include seconds in there too, and post before next Sunday. I promise I will get something for the Winner!
Ok, the data…
My Half PR: Staten Island Half, September, 2010: 1:42:47. Pace: 7:50
Same race last year: NYC Half, 2012; 1:43:04: Pace 7:52
Second half of Berlin: 1:41:49. Pace: 7:46
Berlin Marathon, total: 3:27:44. Pace: 7:55
December: 15K (9.3 miles) at 7:23
January: 5 miler at 7:13 (not a PR, PR is 7:08)
That’s all I have… no races since then.
This might help. it’s what I am working with…
1:38, pace: 7:29
1:39, pace: 7:33
1:40, pace: 7:38
1:41, pace: 7:43
As you know from my post last week, I am quite confident I am going to PR. But… by how much. It’d also be quite a safe bet to go over my PR 😉 and I declared openly my goal is to go sub 1:40…
GO ON! Place your bets!!! I might only read fivestarks’ comment before the race though… 🙂
