The day before the Boston Marathon…

Guys, I HAVE SO MUCH TO TELL YOU!!!! I have no idea how I could ever put this whole weekend in paper. I am still overwhelmed and overhyped. The crowds on the race there the most amazing thing I’ve seen. I had to work hard to run the 26.2 but also to not cry through EVERY SINGLE STEP. I was completely moved by the city. My race was PAINFUL from mile 1, I was hot, tired, slow, I didn’t have any training and my legs were not happy up or down, but I pushed through and had a great time (and finished sooner than I thought!). I have sooo much to share, for now a couple of pictures while I stretch, ice-bath, hydrate, put a gallon on lotion on my sunburn, and look at my bloody blisters in disgust. This was a race for the ages… more to come soon!

  1. Congrats! Can’t wait to hear more about your race. I was lucky to have the day off yesterday and watched the race at home. It was amazing and emotional on TV and I can’t even imagine what it would be like to be there.
